Albariño! Porque no Albariño oh so lovely grape not so widely known in the U.S. Albariño. it originates of course in Galicia if you're Spanish it's a Spanish grape. If you're Portuguese it's a Portuguese grape but I can say without fear of contradiction that it's Iberian typically it's grown in a granitic soils it tolerates a high degree of humidity and rain so it's fairly bulletproof in that regard. And oddly enough counter-intuitively enough that really seems to be quite transportable and you can grow it in other areas of the world that are climatically quite different as long as it's more or less cool enough I think you can produce a very typical Albariño I think you can grow it in a range of different soils but you just need a cool enough site to retain the natural acidity when it's beautiful beautiful great (Off Screen) what's it like to work with? it's a pleasure it's a real pleasure it's a small question great so the yields are not super high strangely it resembles Riesling the grape itself is very close to the reason cluster it's got a little speckles on it small cluster naturally high in acid and has a beautiful... the wine has a beautiful citrus aroma
