A 9mm 1911 pistol by RIA had issues holding the slide open on the last round.
The magazines were tested were fine. The problem could be either the magazine follower not pushing up the slide stop or the slide stope dent has worn to the point that it needs replacement.
1) I tried to bent a magazine follower and the dent snapped off. It was not the problem
2) Replaced the slide stop and the problem is fixed.
