1999 - 2006 Chevy / GMC Rear Door Speaker Install (Extended Cab)

Watch an abbreviated tutorial as a 2005 GMC Sierra / Chevy Silverado will have the rear extended cab door removed for access to replace the 4x6" speaker.

This video applies to GMC / Chevrolet (Chevy) Sierra / Silverado / Suburban / Yukon / Tahoe / Avalanche models for years 1999, 2000, 2001, 2002, 2003, 2004, 2005 and 2006. This video also includes door trim and speaker removal.

NOTE: This vehicle was NOT equipped with Bose. If you have Bose, and are RETAINING the factory Bose amplifier, the rear door speaker is a 3.5 ohm impedance, so any 4 ohm 4x6" speaker will work fine. However, the front doors are a 2 ohm impedance.
