Описание: Hosts Tianran He and Hannah Wilson head to the cloud-wrapped peaks of Mount Huangshan in Anhui Province. They skip the 60,000 steps and take a cable car to the top, visiting the iconic “Welcoming Guest Pine.” On the mountaintop, they taste Huangshan Maofeng green tea along with walnut pastries, before heading to a bamboo forest made famous by the film Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon. There, they learn to dig for seasonal bamboo shoots before sitting down to try them in a stew with pork and vermicelli. In Hongcun village, they pop into a pizzeria and explore the local architecture in period costumes. In Huizhou Ancient City, they walk on a 1,400-year-old stone dam before getting a masterclass on China’s six types of tea, paired with black-sesame “ink” pastries. After a visit to an ink stone factory, they’re off to the curiously named Monkey Pit Village, where the hosts learn about the production of Taiping Houkui green tea, before ending the day with fish cooked three ways and shrimp cooked with tea leaves.
