At birth, Emerson (Eme) was diagnosed with cystic fibrosis and has spent countless hours doing breathing treatments and being in doctor's offices. Eme's wish to go to the Bahamas became a precious ray of light - a chance to see a new corner of the world, far from the pain of endless medical care.
Eme's wish was much more than a trip, it was an escape where she could forget about her treatments, be a kid, and make lasting memories with her family.
