Lilliam Rosario, PhD, who serves as director at the Office of Computational Science at the Food and Drug Administration (FDA), reflects on the goals of the Janus Clinical Trials Repository, an FDA initiative to provide researchers with access to a warehouse of study data in order to support regulatory decision making. The initiative encourages the standardization of data and hopes ultimately to leverage both clinical and non-clinical data to better predict safety and efficacy of products.
