1947 Sammy Kaye - Little Toot (Don Cornell & the Three Kaydets, vocal)

Описание: Adapted from the 1939 children’s story, “Little Toot” was included as one of the short features in Walt Disney’s 1948 musical animation anthology “Melody Time.” The Capitol Records release of “Little Toot” on their Children’s Series (story narrated by Don Wilson) purportedly became the first children’s record ever to sell over one million copies (listen here:    • Little Toot - Don Wilson & The Starlighter...   ); and this Kaye track of Allie Wrubel’s movie tune was a very condensed retelling of the story’s plot.
