How to start your sourdough starter with fresh milled flour Using the no discard method .
Day 1-3
-12g wheat berries ( hard red or hard white)
-16g water (unchlorinated, filtered, spring bottled water)
Day 4
-24g wheat berries ( hard red or hard white)
-32g water (unchlorinated, filtered, spring bottled water)
Day 5
-30g wheat berries ( hard red or hard white)
-32g water (unchlorinated, filtered, spring bottled water)
Day 6
if it has not doubled in size
-40g wheat berries ( hard red or hard white)
-42g water (unchlorinated, filtered, spring bottled water)
Day 7
start discard feed
1:1:1 ratio in morning and
at night if doubling in size. Two strengthen starter.
If not doubling in size do
a couple more days of
1:2:2 ratio once a day.
