Drive to the new Hamad International Airport in Qatar. This is a completely new built airport.

Hamad International Airport (IATA: DOH, ICAO: OTHH) (Arabic: مطار حمد الدولي‎) is the international airport for Doha, the capital city of Qatar. It replaces the former Doha International Airport as Qatar's airport. Formerly known as New Doha International Airport (NDIA), Hamad International Airport was originally scheduled to open in 2009, but after a series of costly delays, the airport finally opened on April 30, 2014 with a ceremonial Qatar Airways flight landing from Doha International. National carrier Qatar Airways, and all other carriers formally relocated to the new airport on May 27, 2014.[3].Hamad International Airport began passenger operations on 30 April 2014 with ten airlines flying there initially [source: http://en.wikipedia.org]

Inside the airport you can see the amazing architecture with long arches stretching across in many areas. After passing through immigration you will be able to witness the beauty of this new airport. Not a single moment you will be bored as everywhere you look there is so much to see. The Duty Free shops are very much different from the ones at Dubai Airport and give you more the feeling of luxury and upper class and not so much being adopted for masses.

Inside the airport is darker in many places and not so much natural sunlight can enter the building. It is just a different way and was maybe the intention of the architects planning the new airport.

This video was taken while I was on a business trip, Emirates flight EK882 from Doha (DOH) to Dubai (DXB).

The video is a little bit shaky due to movement activities.
