The Alesis Quadraverb is thirty years old this year, and still a fabulous piece of kit. This comes from an era long, long before any computer recording and mixing, and was a real boon when it came out - four effects at once from one device, and all programmable and MIDI addressable.
You can find these on eBay for nothing - people are only using computer plugins now, but the live sound world still use stand-alone effects units like these - easily and quickly edited, and excellent sounding...
This one is from 1991, and I got it (virtually new) for my 18th birthday!
