Automatic stamping of motor cover from metal sheet (blank)
This line is composed of 1 set of 6 station material rack (destacker), 9 sets of 4-axis 3kg intelligent swing arm stamping manipulator and 8 penumatic presses.
The 6-station destacker positions, splits and feeds the metal sheet to the calibration table, where the 1st robot picks from. It has 6 stations (bins), so no need to stop the production line to load materials. With double sheets sensor, the destacker will stop and alarm if two pieces are grabbed.
#The first swing arm stamping manipulator (4-axis) picks from the calibration table and feeds to the first press.
#The following robots transfer the piece from previous press to the next press in sequence.
This is a very easy solution with the standard "parallel translation" mode.
#Parallel translation
Parallel translation mode is the simplest and most commonly used mode. It is suitable for workpieces of the previous and next punch presses on the same plane and there are no obstacles between the workpieces, such as mold guide pillars or punch photoelectric sensors. The manipulator can grab and feed the workpiece effectively without any other extra action.
Suction cup gripper is not fit for this solution, pneumatic fixture is used.
