McKinnon Galloway - 2019 NF National Ambassador

Описание: McKinnon Galloway is the Children's Tumor Foundation 2019 NF National Ambassador. She was diagnosed with NF2 at age 16 after a volleyball hit her in the head during a high school match, causing a concussion. A scan revealed she had tumors unrelated to the concussion, and McKinnon has been on a 10-year medical journey of brain surgeries, MRIs and chemotherapy. This year, McKinnon will proudly graduate summa cum laude from college, and tell her story, as well as the stories of other NF patients, in order to raise awareness and funding of neurofibromatosis (NF) research, in order to find a cure.
