Starting the show off with the Tug Missouri breaking up the Ice on Rice's Point for the Oberstar. The Oberstar’s 9th and final visit to Duluth for Iron Ore! They arrived in our fair city on December 28 at 04:12 in the wee hours of the morning. Pulled up to the CN dock at 05:04 and loaded or there until December 29 at 16:34. A total of 35.5 hours on this visit. They departed Duluth at 17:44 after being in Port for 37.5 hours. Heading to Indiana Harbor with their 2nd to last run of the season. After this jaunt, they made their 15th visit to Marquette MI to load some ore for Indiana Harbor as well before coming back to Duluth for Winter Layup at Fraser.
