2:08:43 RTA from New Game to Credits flash. One death+reset to an early game Tangela trainer, so ended up as 2:05 IGT.
Great Blastoise and good RNG overall outside of the death, but my personal uber rust on gen1 speedruns didn't help. With modern standards of execution+Red menuing techniques (which pretty much all still work) this is probably a sub 2 viable game.
