Now Longville Tom Adams makes it his second recording of the 2026 Lenten Season. The Kala bamboo tenor uke is slightly out of tune or it'd be even easier to notice that good old Longville Tom Adams is up to his standard of managing to get maybe one out of three notes right. But Tom fixed it up with Jesus, so when the angels beckon, his song is made perfect and pleasing.

Bamboo is a woody grass that is considered "sustainable," and the sounds from this uke are unique among ukes. The volume is medium, the sustain medium, and the price medium. It is very playable. It looks great! You got to love the bamboo bridge, neck and slotted headstock. This one came from a thrift store with a Kala tweed hard case. Very nice. It’s a keeper.
