Dani Pimenta is a Brazilian music researcher, DJ, journalist, and cultural producer. She leads key projects in Brazil's reggae and sound system culture, including Mapa Sound System Brasil, Feminine Hi-Fi and Groovin Mood. Dani is also the founder of Her Vinyl Brasil, a platform dedicated to exploring women's roles in Brazil’s vinyl industry. A practitioner of Sonic Street Technologies at Goldsmiths, University of London, she also works as art educator at Projeto Guri, Brazil 's largest socio-cultural project.
