Описание: Our day begins in the rolling heathlands of Mookerheide, where purple heather meets dense forest and soft hills open up to sweeping views of the Dutch-German border. The trail winds through tall pines, mossy clearings, and ancient oak groves—calm, earthy, and completely still except for the occasional woodpecker in the distance.

After a peaceful morning hike, we cross the border into Germany and explore a small animal park hidden in the forest near Weeze. It feels like stepping into a quiet woodland fairytale—shy deer watch us from behind the trees, goats roam freely, and unexpected animal encounters keep the afternoon full of gentle surprises.

From heathlands to hand-fed deer, this cross-border day hike is one of our most peaceful yet. A mix of silence, soft color, and slow moments—perfect for anyone craving nature without the crowds.
