Futurecraft, Adidas's new line of concept shoes, was responsible for the world's first running shoe with a usable 3-D printed sole. The NMD draws inspiration from past Adidas Originals silhouettes that were considered progressive for their time, from the Micro Pacer to the Rising Star and the Boston Super — some of the brand’s most celebrated shoes. It boasts a midsole that incorporates the brand’s Boost technology, as well as a Primeknit upper for maximum flexibility, stability, and strength.
