It was a huge blow for Congress in Goa after 8 of 11 party MLAs switched loyalty and joined the BJP in presence of CM Pramod Sawant. Former Goa chief minister Digambar Kamat and the current LoP Michael Lobo were among the MLAs who joined the saffron party.
