I’ve been documenting the surf scene in New Smyrna Beach for years, not just because I love filmmaking, but because I’m forever connected to surfing. To me, surf is more than just a sport—it’s movement, community, and expression. Since I can’t be out there myself, picking up a camera has been my way of staying connected, capturing the way the ocean shapes people and moments.
