Session Project: The Animated Egg is a project album composed of studio session musicians rather than a regular band. Jerry Cole-Led: Produced primarily by renowned Los Angeles session guitarist Jerry Cole, it features psychedelic guitar sounds and rich effects. Instrumental Focus: Composed entirely of instrumental tracks, it is considered to have been produced with the commercial exploitation of the psychedelic sound of the era in mind. Cult Status: Its reputation later grew among collectors, leading to reissues and CD versions being released.
