Additional Info: The APRUs are staffed with an LAFD Firefighter/Paramedic and an Advanced Provider (Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant) and offer a broad range of capabilities outside of the traditional paramedic scope of practice. The APRU offer three distinct services. the LAFD will be adding 2 more APRU units in mid 2019 the current AP units are AP15 AP4 AP58 AP7 AP82 AP84.
