Growing population demands are causing an annual reduction of agricultural land. Providing food for such a large people on the land and water that are available is difficult for a farmer. The goal of the soil less or water culture farming technique is to grow plants without soil in the absence of sunshine. Moreover, with rising need for technical growth and urban westernization, the amount of land and water (suitable for irrigation) is dwindling. Furthermore, the expense and fertility of land in the city make agricultural growing unfeasible. Although there are several soil-less culture media adapted round the globe to grow crops but the water usage is higher and other soil less media requires a lot of cost as well as health is concerned. In order to overcome this problem, we designed a unique technology called ‘automated fogponics’ that focuses on growing plants in a soil-free media without natural sunlight. The method utilizes indoor growing techniques, which eliminates the need for atmospheric consideration for safe agriculture. Vertical stack farming boosts production within a regulated environment. Because the soil-free cultivation environment provides no shelter for insects, pesticide-free organic fruits and vegetables may be collected effortlessly. Only 10% of the water utilized in typical agriculture is used by the system. The method utilizes indoor growing techniques, which eliminates the need for atmospheric consideration for safe agriculture. Fogponics is a more sophisticated variation of aeroponics that uses fog as the primary growing medium. This technology employs an electric fogger that pumps and vibrates under pressure to transform nutritional compounds and water into moisture, just like in a rain forest. In metropolitan India, there is a consumer desire for fresh, local, pesticide-free products. Fogponics farming allows for the cultivation of a wide range of crops closer to the city, regardless of climatic conditions, and lowers the time and distance between harvest and consumption. To address the needs of customers, establishing a fogponics agricultural system necessitates considerable investment and expert personnel.
