Описание: According to the traditional calendar, today marks Vijaya Dashami. After the special Puja, Devi Boron (farewell to the Goddess), and the ritual of Sindoor Khela, the preparations for immersing the idols in the Ganges began in Berhampore from Saturday afternoon. A few household Pujas and neighborhood Pujas performed their idol immersions that day. For household Pujas, the Nabapatrika immersion was done. As in previous years, the immersion took place at the K.N. College Ghat in Berhampore. With heavy hearts, everyone bid farewell to Goddess Uma, beginning the wait for another year. Special administrative arrangements were made for the immersion of idols in the Bhagirathi River.
