Anita said: "We are keen travellers in our VW van and have spent many years touring Scotland. We have both lived in the south of Scotland but we had never really ventured this far north, until now. The scenery is incredible around Loch Shin. It is just stunning.

"We will guarantee you a really friendly welcome and inside the pods, there are cosy beds and a bed settee to comfortably sleep two adults and two children.

"It is self-catering so there is a microwave, cooker, toilet and a shower and the pods are heated too so when the Scottish weather is not at its best, you can turn the heating up and enjoy the beautiful scenery while feeling all toasty. They have everything you need.

"John and I have always loved the outdoors and we have outdoor fire pits on the site too. There's wood to burn and blankets for guests to wrap themselves up in. So, whatever the weather, they can stay warm and enjoy the peace and tranquility of the area.

John added: "It was always going to be the Highlands that we wanted to settle down in and this was the first place we came across. We fell in love with it... and the rest in history.

"There is so much to do for all of the family around here, we could go on and on. For example, you get sheep dog demos next door, there are lots of geese and there are deer in the bottom field too.

"It is just a wonderful part of the world."
