Are we preaching the same gospel the Apostles preached?
In his final letter, the Apostle Paul warned in 2 Timothy 4:3–4 that a time would come when people would not endure sound doctrine—but would gather teachers to satisfy their “itching ears.” That time is here.
Today we return to ground zero: Acts 2:38.
When the convicted crowd cried out, “What shall we do?” Peter didn’t say, “Just believe.”
He said: Repent. Be baptized. Receive the Holy Spirit.
So we must ask the hard question:
👉 Is repentance necessary for salvation?
👉 Can someone have Jesus as Savior without surrendering to Him as Lord?
👉 Is baptism optional—or commanded?
We examine:
The biblical meaning of repentance (metanoia — a 180° turn)
Why baptism is tied directly to remission of sins
How grace and obedience work together (Ephesians 2:8–10)
Why faith without works is dead (James 2:26)
Jesus’ warning in Luke 13:3
This is not about legalism.
This is about biblical salvation.
We are not here to collect converts.
We are here to win souls.
