Описание: Old-Tammiku in Ahtme is closely connected to the Soviet past, just like many places in Ida-Virumaa. When factories and agricultural facilities were operating here, the area was an important part of the larger system of the USSR. After the collapse of the Soviet Union, many such sites lost their purpose and turned into quiet, abandoned corners of the post-Soviet landscape.

In this video, I walk through an old agricultural and industrial complex. I enter empty grain storage buildings and dark rooms where people once worked and the noise of machinery filled the space. Now there is only dust, the echo of footsteps, and a feeling that time has stopped.

You will see what this place looks like today and the atmosphere it still carries. It is one of those locations that remind us of the past and show how much the region has changed over the last decades.
