This Team Video accompanies our application to the WIN Narrative Challenge for Exchange Place: Interrupting Toxic Narratives.
Exchange Place is a narrative-based systems intervention addressing bias and toxic workplace culture—specifically the enduring narratives about who belongs, who leads, and who is “qualified.” The project is grounded in the lived experience and historical evidence of the Adult Education Center (New Orleans, 1965–1972), where Black women successfully integrated white-collar workplaces by confronting workplace bias directly rather than managing around it.
This video introduces the leadership team responsible for stewarding the project’s narrative integrity, community relationships, and execution:
• Dr. Sandra O’Neal, Executive Producer
• Jeanne Geoffray, Executive Director, The 431 Exchange
• Matt Johnson, Producer
Together, the team brings complementary strengths in historical scholarship, community-rooted leadership, fiscal stewardship, and national public media production—ensuring the project functions not only as a documentary, but as a convening and attention mechanism within a broader solution.
