Описание: Manti - Asian Filled Dumplings – is a finely chopped meat or vegetables in a thin dough, steamed in a special steamer-pot with multiple levels and small holes on each level (mantovarka). It is a traditional dish of Central Asia (Uzbekistan and Kazakhstan), Mongolia, Korea, Turkey and Pakistan. Manti remember Russian Pelmeni, but taste different, because they prepared in a steamer and meat should always be chopped up by hand. I like to share a very popular version of dumplings that is common in Uzbekistan, it filled with mixture of potato, onion, minced dill and butter.
