Описание: Located in the heart of downtown, the Shinola Hotel embodies Detroit’s celebrated craftsmanship and ingenuity with
unparalleled design, on-site dining, shopping, and private events spaces. The hotel combines historic Detroit architecture with
Shinola’s classic style and brand. This two-year project involved the rehabilitation of two historic buildings at 1400 Woodward
and the Singer Building, as well as the demolition and subsequent rebuilding of three neighboring buildings that ultimately
combined for a completely unique hospitality experience.
Craftsmanship plays a major part in the Shinola Hotel’s overall appearance. The hotel’s accommodations are thoughtfully
designed at every turn —featuring handcrafted millwork, custom fixtures and quality finishes that were inspired by patterns
and textures found during the renovation process. Shinola goods exclusively made for the hotel, such as a desk clock version
of its signature Runwell watch, a striped alpaca throw blanket and a candle are among the many amenities in each guest room.
The world’s first Shinola Hotel is Detroit’s new living room. Filled with elegant simplicity and nostalgic touches that harken
back to the city’s rich history has resulted in an inviting, welcoming atmosphere to visitors and Detroiters alike.
