As part of our ongoing relationship with Kielder Observatory, we are producing a range of video content to coincide with the launch of their new website in 2013. As part of the content, we asked head astronomer Gary Fields a series of questions on the universe and our place in it, and this film was a result of one of the questions.

The film is undoubtedly a favourite of ours, mainly because of its simplicity; one camera locked off, one contributor, a few cut aways, and one question....

"What is the most astounding fact that you can share with us about the Universe?".

Gary's delivery was given in one complete take; the sheer scale of what he is talking about is almost incomprehensible, but Gary delivers this information with such ease and enthusiasm that these incredible facts can be digested by anybody.

2013 will see the delivery of many videos produced in conjunction with the Kielder Observatory... Watch this space!
