There have been literally hundreds (maybe even thousands) of theories about this year's Avengers: Endgame since Avengers: Infinity War came to a climax back in 2018 - especially since the movie's intriguing and highly-anticipated first trailer was released back in December.

One of the most interesting of those theories relates to a quote from 2015's Avengers: Age of Ultron - and it suggests that the Avengers have actually been stuck in a time loop since the events of that movie.

In this video, we'll be delving significantly deeper into that theory and explaining exactly how and why it came to be in the first place.

It's further backed up by the actions of Doctor Strange in his own movie back in 2016, when he - you guessed it - trapped Dormammu in a time loop to force him to quite his plans to merge Earth with his Dark Dimension.

Specifically, it suggests that the MCU will have to go through 14,000,604 scenarios before it finally hits the one that will bring the time loop to a halt and see the Avengers emerge victorious from their battle with the Mad Titan Thanos.

Moreover, Nick Fury might even know about it - and that's why he's been preparing the Earth for every possible scenario for the last two decades. Interesting, huh?
