In December 2016, a horrific incident occurred in the Sao Paulo region of Brazil, a tragedy that could only be described as Seconds From Disaster. A young couple, Rosemire Silva and Udirlei Damaceno, were planning to get married. The bride decided to surprise the groom and guests on the wedding day, but this surprise ended in a tragic death. The disturbing video of the helicopter crash, just moments before the catastrophe, was captured on the camera of a friend of photographer Nayla Neves.
Rosemire Silva planned to fly to the wedding ceremony in style by helicopter, but the flight turned into Seconds From Disaster when the helicopter crashed a few kilometers before reaching its destination. Four people died in the crash: the bride Rosemire Silva, the bride's brother Silvano Nascimento, photographer Nayla Cristina Neves, and the pilot of the Robinson R44, Peterson Pinheiro.
