Some time ago I made a series of video lessons of the accompaniment to Danny Vera’s Roller Coaster. It’s quite a popular song here in the Netherlands and many pupils ask for a completely written out accompaniment. To do that was one of my holiday jobs, and the result you’ll see in a sing-along duo video in the coming days. The fingerstyle cover I made first, and what you see in the video, is sort of a by-product: once I have the complete accompaniment written out, and the full vocal melody, it’s but a small step to a solo arrangement. It’s fun to play, not really difficult, except for the high bit. That does need some study.
