The knot in the end of the rope is extremely important when climbing. Especially when abseiling. But what is the best Stopper Knot for Abseiling / Rappelling?
I did a few tests with different knots to see how easily they would come loose with rope movements.
It has already happened to me that a simple knot in the end of the rope has come loose. Since then I use only the Barrel Knot. This knot has never come loose.
