Speaking at BRK Bhavan, Hyderabad, the Telangana Jagruthi President and former MP strongly criticized the BRS leadership, stating that arrogance among senior leaders was the real reason behind the party’s defeat in the Telangana Assembly Elections. She alleged that instead of introspection, attempts were being made to blame her and the liquor case for the party’s loss.

Kavitha thanked the Indian judiciary for dismissing what she described as a false case. She said she endured five and a half months away from her children and family, facing humiliation and character assassination. No amount of money, she said, can compensate for that lost time and emotional pain.

She questioned why BRS leadership did not publicly defend her when she was arrested and criticized what she called selective narratives on social media linking the party’s electoral defeat to her case. Kavitha urged leaders to honestly review the real reasons for the party’s setback, including unemployment issues, double bedroom housing promises, and candidate selection decisions.

Reaffirming her commitment to public service, Kavitha said people’s struggles — especially farmers' issues in Gadwal, Nizamabad, and Khammam — remain her priority. She revealed that she plans to launch a new political party within two months and believes the court verdict is a positive sign and divine support for her future political journey
