THE GOOSE WOMAN is a film based on true crime and features wonderful performances from Jack Pickford and Louise Dressler, an actress of wonderful range and pathos.
This version features a score by yours truly. It is my second feature-length effort and my fourth score overall. I use photoplay music...music called thusly because it was composed or arranged to suit the needs of accompanists in the days before films had scores recorded for the photo-plays [or movies, if you like] that folks came to see.
For those curious, the list of pieces I used (the "cue sheet") is below. I used a number of cues from a 1924 score for the film MONSIEUR BEAUCAIRE...and I haven't yet identified the titles of all the pieces used in that score, so when you see BEUACAIRE in the list, that's what I'm referring to.
I consider this finished "for now," but it should likely be considered a draft of some sort. Kind feedback is always welcome of whatever variety.
