In 2018, we took a trip to Peru. When our flight was delayed in Berlin, we were almost late for our connection in Frankfurt, where our next plane was already waiting. So, when we finally arrived in Lima, our suitcases were still in Germany.
Since our journey was very intense — we moved from one place to another every day, changing time zones and natural environments — our suitcases just couldn’t catch up with us. We were moving much faster. So for five days, we traveled only with small backpacks and without our luggage. It was very, very interesting and a bit stressful.
Finally, our suitcases reached us in Nazca, where we took a flight over the Nazca Lines. That was incredibly amazing. Of course, filming was also very interesting. And those lines truly seem not to be man-made — you’re faced with the mysteries of an ancient civilization.
My trip to Peru was the most fascinating, the most mysterious journey I’ve ever taken in my life.
