We've got sock blanks on the brain lately. I used my Singer Knitting machine http://amzn.to/2FmQVdA to knit a double stranded sock blank out of Stroll Fingering weight yarn http://shrsl.com/r87n (Affiliate Links). This was my first double stranded blank on the machine and it had some mistakes. I'm curious about how identical these skeins of yarn will be compared to a commercially wound blank. Also, will this one be a lot harder to unwind?
Since I made this first blank, I made a second homemade blank with KnitPicks Imagination Yarn and it has almost no mistakes. The construction of this blank will be featured in an upcoming video.
