A working agreement between Vince McMahon and Paul Heyman led to ECW invading the WWF in 1997. This co-promoting benefited both shows, the WWF needed a boost with WCW beating them in the Monday Night TV ratings, and ECW needed more exposure due to their upcoming debut on Pay Per View television. On an episode of Monday Night Raw in February of 1997, Paul E. Dangerously showed up and fans got treated to a series of ECW matches inside the Manhattan Center. From here, a rivalry began that would see more ECW talent work on WWF shows and WWF talent also had a few notable moments and matches at ECW events. This video looks at the entire 1997 ECW invasion of the WWF.
