Emmetson Zeah, a teenager who killed two other teens outside the Mall in Columbia last year while wearing an ankle monitor has been convicted of first-degree murder. Blake McCray, 15, and Michael Robertson, 16, were killed outside the Lidl and Barnes & Noble stores at the mall. They were among mallgoers leaving the area due to its curfew.
Zeah, who was 18 and on home detention for trying to stab a teen in November 2024, was found guilty Friday of 13 charges, including first-degree murder, first-degree assault and retaliation against a witness.
