QuadraTrac I swap to Command Trac update (Jeep WK/XK) - [Extra Info in Description]

Описание: A quick update video on where I'm at in the process of installing the NV241 (CommandTrac) transfer case to replace the NV140 (QuadraTrac I) transfer case.

To be clear, this has already been done before, so it IS possible to swap out the NV140 transfer case and get low range in our WK's and XK's that did not have one from factory.
Granted, you'll encounter some issues with limp mode and the NAG1 TCM if you don't resolve those appropriately.
But if you pull a front wheel speed sensor and have, at the minimum, a rear locker (because you'll lose BLD in the process), you should have no issues with going into limp mode. In my personal experience, the NAG1 will NOT go into limp mode if you pull one front wheel speed sensor. (But it will still go into limp mode if you pull the ABS fuse. Weird how that works). Therefore, a front wheel speed sensor kill-switch is on my to-do list along with this swap. I have tried this trick before when my TCM was still programmed with 3.07's while running 3.73's. This did work for my 2005 model WK until I could get my TCM reprogrammed a year later.
A RockTrac NV241 with a 4:1 ratio will also override torque loss from 3rd gear in limp mode if you also wanted to go that route. A 5:1 TC from Atlas Advanced Adapters for a 2012+ JK Auto is even better.

Will update this channel in episodes as soon as I feel I'm ready to attempt this swap.
I'll do my best to film the swap step-by-step in episodes so it can be done by other enthusiasts in the future if I elect to go forward with this.
Until then, twin-swapped ELSD's front and rear with 3.73's have already proven to be FAR more plentiful than I expected, even with QuadraTrac I and a non-locking center diff.
