Most people are familiar with the principal Viking gods, such as Odin, Thor, and Loki. But what about the goddesses?

Due to the nature of the surviving sources, written by men in the medieval period and mainly concerned with male history, a lot of information about the Norse goddesses is obscured or lost.

For example, we know the fates of a dozen male gods at Ragnarok, but we aren’t told the fate of a single female goddess during the apocalypse.
