State Bank of India (SBI), as one of India's largest public sector banks, provides PMJDY accounts with specific features.

Key Details About SBI PMJDY Account:
Eligibility:
Any Indian citizen above 10 years of age can open this account.
Even minors (10 years or older) can open an account with a guardian.
Features of the Account:

Zero Balance Account: No minimum balance is required.
RuPay Debit Card: Provides a free RuPay debit card for cash withdrawals and transactions.
Accidental Insurance Coverage: Accidental death and disability insurance of up to ₹2 lakh is available (subject to card usage conditions).
Life Insurance Coverage: A one-time benefit of ₹30,000 life insurance for accounts opened before a specified cut-off date.
Overdraft Facility: Eligible account holders can avail of an overdraft facility of up to ₹10,000 (subject to conditions like satisfactory account operations for at least six months).
Direct Benefit Transfer (DBT): Government subsidies and benefits can be directly credited to the account.
Interest on Savings: Savings in the account earn interest as per the bank's savings account rate.

Documents Required:
KYC Documents: Aadhaar card, Voter ID, Passport, or other valid identity and address proof.
Simplified KYC Accounts: If full KYC documents are unavailable, accounts can be opened with relaxed KYC norms (Small Accounts).
Aadhaar Linking: Aadhaar is not mandatory but is preferred for availing government benefits.

How to Open an SBI PMJDY Account:
Visit any SBI branch or Customer Service Point (CSP) of Business Correspondents.
Submit the required documents.
Fill out the account opening form.
Mobile and Internet Banking:

Basic mobile banking services are available.
Internet banking is generally not provided for PMJDY accounts, but users can request upgrades upon meeting eligibility.

Additional Benefits:
Pension schemes like PM-SYM and APY can be linked to the account.
Micro-insurance schemes like PMSBY and PMJJBY are accessible.
