ASHVILLE, Ohio (WSYX) — Ashville’s police chief remains on paid administrative leave after council members met Tuesday night to discuss whether to bring him back.
Chief Jeff George is accused of removing a fishing pole from the Ashville Police Department’s property room in February and allegedly placing it in his personal vehicle, according to the report filed with the Pickaway County Sheriff’s Office. The alleged crime was reported in July.
