Jig of choice
Tail is craft fur. Reverse tied to add bulk and to secure the craft fur. Craft fur doesn’t compress and is slippery so it can wiggle out of your thread wraps easily.
UV Polar Chenille
Reverse tied craft fur shorter than the tail. Keep thinking taper. Your choice of flash probably not crystal flash. Trimmed the same length as the craft fur. TAPER!!!!
Rinse and repeat one more time.
I use schallapen for the collar but marabou or even craft fur in a dubbing loop works. Finally Guinea because it’s awesome.
Craft fur is a great alternative to bucktail in this case and is much easier for beginner tyers. Using bucktail allows you to tie a much larger bait.
