USAF B-1B BOMBERS DEPLOY TO THE UK | 2021

Описание: Earlier today, two Rockwell B-1B Lancer bomber aircraft from the 7th Bomb Wing, stationed at Dyess Air Force Base in Texas, arrived at RAF Fairford in Gloucestershire. They are believed to soon be joined by a couple more and will be temporarily stationed at Fairford for the coming weeks as part of The Bomber Task Force Deployment.

Supported by three KC-135 tankers over the United States (under the callsigns SPUR71, 72 & 73) during the early hours this morning, the B-1s then continued their journey across the Atlantic where they were greeted over the West coast of Scotland by an RAF Voyager and Typhoons for a photo op.
Both aircraft then headed South to Fairford and landed at approximately 1140 hrs local time.

0:17 - ASCOT816 (C-17, ZZ173) rtb Brize Norton
0:34 - REMUS flight spotted to the North East
1:09 - REMUS flt run & break over runway 27
2:24 - REMUS01 cleared to land
3:46 - REMUS02 cleared to land
