Описание: A Triang Model Railway Layout from the 1950s and 60s. My father's original layout consisted of 5 locomotives, rolling stock, Series 3 steel rails, Airfix buildings, Matchbox vehicles and various accessories which following my childhood I carried around in boxes from house to house for about 40 years. About 5 years ago I built the layout you see and added extensively to it with ebay purchases of trains, Triang Model Land buildings, Triang stations etc. I also added bits that I always wanted such as electric points and a smoking train. I would estimate that it's around 80-85% authentic to the period (items such as the cable cars, around 4 vehicles, the chapel and lighting are relatively modern but remind me of my past). It's not meant to be realistic-Triang was in the toy business after all-however, it takes me back to my childhood and gives me a great deal of pleasure. Hope you enjoy!
