In this vlog, I get ready for Winterlude with my best friend and we literally walk from Ottawa to Gatineau to get to the main Winterlude area. We grab food, go down the Chinook slide, attempt the world’s most useless maze (you could literally see through it??), and then make the worst decision ever…

We waited TWO HOURS by the water in freezing weather for a Ferris wheel ride that lasted maybe one minute. The closer we got to the water, the colder it got. I genuinely thought we were going to get hypothermia.

Was it worth it? Absolutely not.

After freezing our souls off, we got a BeaverTail, went home, I had a little Valentine’s dinner date with my guinea pigs (because priorities), showed you what my mom got me, and ended the night opening gifts with my partner over FaceTime 🥹❤️

Chaotic. Cold. Slightly romantic. Very Canadian.
