Episode 38, our first recording in 2026 and in our new studio - The Dawg House. We're featuring 3 clips from 2025 - the story of decorated war hero Tommy Prince MM (member of the Devil's Brigade in WW2), international jewel thief Gerald Blanchard and a rant about Louis CK's show in Winnipeg.
Thanks to our sponsor Rumor's Comedy Club.
More about Tommy Prince - In France in the summer of 1944 Prince endured a grueling trek across rugged terrain to locate an enemy camp. He traveled without food or water for 72 hours. After he returned to the Allied position, he led his unit to the German encampment, which resulted in the capture of more than a thousand German soldiers.
More about Gerald Blanchard - Facing more than 40 charges when police caught up with him in 2007, Blanchard pleaded guilty to 16 of those charges in a Winnipeg court. He was sentenced to eight years in prison in the case that involved global heists and unconfirmed links to Kurdish rebels. Blanchard admitted several capers were carried out on behalf of a mysterious figure known as "The Boss." The Canadian lived a jet-set lifestyle under several assumed identities, using elaborate disguises and high-tech surveillance equipment to empty cash machines from banks around the world.
